This type of policy provides reimbursement for non-refundable expenses and deposits paid for tours, packages or charters.

Medical Expenses and Evacuation: This is one of the best types of travel insurance you can have. If you become ill or suffer injury, travel medical insurance can help cover your costs. These costs might include your hospital stay, ambulance transport, air evacuation, inpatient expenses, outpatient expenses, prescription drugs, dental emergencies and more. Exactly what is covered will depend on the policy you purchase. Sometimes, you will pay your expenses out of pocket, then request reimbursement from your insurance provider after providing proper documentation.

Baggage and Personal Effects: This type of insurance covers the cost of your luggage if it is damaged, lost, delayed or stolen. Often this type of coverage comes as part of a larger policy that covers a variety of other things as well. The amount of coverage you will receive on your baggage and personal items will be specified in your policy.

Single and Annual Trip Coverage: These two types of travel insurance policies are examples of broad spectrum policies which may cover many things like trip cancellation, medical, and baggage.
